If your looking for the TRUEvintage original ( 1924,  1942,  and  1950 ) BOXCAR CHILDREN BOOKS, as well as other scarce books by Gertrude Chandler Warner... look no further!!!  We specialize in her vintage books and are pleased to offer the rarest and most collectible books by Gertrude.  Including, but not limited to, her first editions of,  "The Boxcar Children" readers, as well as:  The House of Delight,  Star Stories For Little Folks, The World In A Barn,  The World On A Farm, and many others!

Most people think that the 1942 Boxcar Children book was the first original edition.  This is NOT true. Gertrude's VERY FIRST Boxcar Children book was published in 1924 by Rand McNally and Company.  It is far more detailed oriented than her later editions.  It is extremely SCARCE and highly collectible!!!
